Lovely little game. I kind of interpreted this as a squatter though. Up until the love story was introducted... xD
Here's my take on it:

This game blew me away. First off, I loved the pixelated style graphics. I feel like your character models look a lot more eerie with them. I can tell there was a good amount of thought put into the story, and I obviously didn't understand what was going on for a while there. A good story is what's lacking in a lot of indie horror games these days, so that really made this game great. The ambiance really got me. Random glitches here and there, creepy surroundings and that overall feeling of "something is stalking me" really kept me on edge the whole time. The atmosphere was just totally immersive. I was 100% drawn into this game not even five minutes in. The little details here and there, things changing around as the game progressed was an awesome detail. It's super edgy to feel like there is something in the house with you. I didn't show it in the video, but I liked the little touch of the game getting all glitchy when you hold down the ESC key to quit. I could go on all day talking about this game. Anyways, this was amazing and PLEASE make a prequel/sequel. Thanks so much for making this!

Umfend is a really great game. The only thing that kind of sucks is the obvious forced hand to do things. This is to progress the story along. I don't really mind that but, it just feels like while i'm being led along it drags the game out. I think it's harder to make a let's play with that. I'm sure most have to chop things out. The story really is good and, unique  the pixel art style fits well with the atmosphere of the game.

Can you possibly make a port of this game for macs?

No, sorry.

If you made it in Unity, you can make a mac version. I know you can't test it since you don't have a mac, but I can test it for you.

This game was scary!  I enjoyed having to complete the game objectives and the pixelated style for this game insanely good!

This game was completely amazing! I had to take a short break because I got legitimately too scared to go on. XD I sincerely hope you pursue making a sequel!

A superb pixelated horror game. Sound and atmosphere are spot on. Never knowing what is coming next always keeps you on edge. A fantastic job on this... :)

While I was playing I wasn't aware you also made Fariwalk, which I enjoyed as well. You've really got a knack for dark atmosphere. Overall this was a pretty solid experience. The visuals were really nice and the pixelated filter helped more than it hurt, but the strange disconnect between the art styles of the environmental design and the character model was a bit strange. The effects were pretty awesome as well, especially the vanishing and crystal ones.  My only real complaints would likely be the one jumpscare that is disconnected from what's actually happening, it comes outta nowhere and fills the screen, all the other scares were spot on, and the few, what seemed to be, time gated sections where the player just has to wait to move forward. You've made great use of a small space and created an interesting, if slightly opaque, story to go along with it. This will join the ranks of a few horror games I feel I really enjoyed. Well done!

What a beautiful game. I think this is great. Well done!

This was a unique horror game that I quite enjoyed! I filled out your survey and I hope I did your game justice in my play through. To everyone watching, hello there! Please enjoy:)

It was a very well made game! I love the atmosphere you brought to the game. The pixel style brought the horror aspect to a very more satisfying level. Very intriguing story line. Looking forward to the remake!

Hiya, I'd like to start this off by saying that I really enjoyed the game. It was a little tricky to piece together the story while playing, but once I thought about it afterwards I'm fairly certain I understand what's going on, and I love it.

The horror elements are handled nicely here, there aren't any big in your face jump scares to speak of. Instead, there's a tense and unnerving atmosphere, the music and sounds play a big role in that. From the sounds of scribbling on walls to the flickering lights, everything is meant to make you feel somewhat uncomfortable which is fantastic for a horror game.

The game is also visually appealing, and I liked that it made use of visual distortions to further add to the players unease. The only complaint I can think of is in regards to the controls, the mouse movement felt just a tiny bit sluggish at times.

It's a great horror game with plenty of spooks to be had, and an interesting story to be told, I'd definitely recommend everyone give this game a try.

I hope you don't mind, but I recorded a let's play of the game for my channel.

Cheers, and best wishes to you!

Looks like someone went on a downvoting spree in the comment here. Why are people so petty? <3UFK

Yeah, I noticed that when I first posted my comment here. Looks like they came back for a round 2 (possibly 3) as well. Seems very strange to me, as far as I can tell, rating comments on Itch doesn't actually do much...so I don't know what they're trying to achieve here, unless if they're just looking to waste their time, in which case I think they succeeded admirably.

This was a fantastic game! I really loved it, good aesthetic, genuine creep factor and somehow heartwarming at the same time. I had a really good time with it! thank you for sharing your art with the world!

My. God. This. Game.

This game hits you where you least expect it. The purposeful glitching screen and distorted music sent shivers down my spine! As for the blue haired girl, I'm so glad you drew her the way you did! She's terrifying and yet you just want to talk to her!

Seriously: CAN WE GET A SEQUEL?

I need to know what happened before that transformed Anika from the sweet girl she was to the Stalking-almost-yandere-ghost she became!!!

I'd give this game 5 stars and near constant screams.

The atmosphere alone made this game one to remember.

I really liked the pacing and the art style you took with this... once I figured out why it kept spinning. Definitely worth the playthrough
